Abstract

Psychological Capital (PsyCap) plays its imminent role as part of the HC essential elements especially in today's work pressure and stressful work culture. It is the core construct in positive psychology. Its frame work has hope, self-efficacy, resilience and optimism. PsyCap is the core construct in positive psychology. PsyCap frameworks such as efficacy, hope, optimism and resilience conceptually demonstrates its relationship with employees performance. The purpose ofthis research Article is to find out the impact of Psychological capital on employees performance. It is anempirical research based on survey method which is a blend of both the descriptive and the analytical method of study. The structure questionnaire likert scale was prepared for finding out the prevailing level of Leadership capital development initiatives. The study was administered to 500 IT middle level executives working in five different IT companies. The sampling techniques applied are stratified random sampling method and moreover, convenience sampling was adopted to collect data from the executives of the IT companies. The results and its outcome of this analysis highlights the impact of these factors on employees'performance. The prevailing policies, practices, initiatives, applications andprocedures are empirically demonstrated and analyzed by Kendall's w test statistical tool and correlation matrix. The result was found that there is stronger relationship between psychological capital and employees 'performance.
